Anxiety is one of the most widespread and least understood experiences of modern life. But what if we've been thinking about it all wrong? In The Power of Anxiety, journalist and television presenter Dr Sian Williams - who has spoken openly about her own mental health journey - argues that anxiety is not simply a disorder to be eliminated, but a signal to be understood, a force that can be harnessed.

Sian will be in conversation with journalist India Sturgis, author of HOW TO EAT AN ELEPHANT: The life-changing power of managing anxiety, one bite at a time, discussing the strategies that can help us embrace uncertainty with the help of science, their own experiences, and the stories of experts and ordinary people alike.

This promises to be a warm, honest and profoundly helpful conversation for anyone who feels they could sometimes use a little helping hand in navigating life’s challenges.
